Jayne Williams, LPCC

Jayne has limited availability for new adult clients who can schedule appointments before 3pm.

“It takes a lot of courage to seek out counseling services. I want to provide a setting that makes a person feel comfortable, listened to, and validated. Change is never pain-free but entering into therapy means you don’t have to do it alone. You have a guide for problem solving, exploring options, and trying out new ways to manage feelings and behaviors.”

“I am interested in helping adults identify their strengths and become better able to feel good about themselves. Good treatment helps individuals, couples, and families begin to make changes in seeing things as barriers or problems and starting to be able to see hope, to have a new ending to the old story they had believed before. I bring almost thirty years’ experience of listening, helping, and joining in new ways to think and behave, which can help change mood and emotions. My interests include mood and anxiety problems, relationship issues, trauma, and addictions.”

“I enjoy helping people become educated about symptoms of depression or anxiety. We have to know what we have, to start to own it, and to be empowered to work with it. Issues like trauma and addiction are confusing. The more information and clarity gained, the less ‘crazy’ we feel.”
